Sr. Baptista Battig
Music Foundation, Inc.

SR. BAPTISTA BATTIG MUSIC FOUNDATION, INC. was created in October 1991 and is tasked mainly with raising funds for the scholarship and professional chair programs of ST. SCHOLASTICA’S COLLEGE SCHOOL OF MUSIC.

The Foundation operates as the fundraising arm of the
St. Scholastica’s College School of Music, whose academic and artistic outputs are inseparable from that of the Foundation's.
In addition, the Foundation may be able to work alongside other schools apart from SSC School of Music, through its outreach activities, but with the active involvement of the School’s faculty, students and alumni.  The membership of the Foundation’s Board comes from the alumni, faculty and friends/supporters of the School.

That in all things,

God may be glorified!

Named after Sister Baptista Battig, OSB  - the founder of the Conservatory of Music of St. Scholastica’s College which pioneered music education in the Philippines.

Inspired to pursue the dream of Sr. Baptista Battig: “Great is my desire to see the dear children of the East rise in the musical world to the same level as those of the west. May all my earnest endeavors bear fruit and lead to a plentiful harvest and may my profound desire be realized someday”.
